McGee's Crossroads, Benson, North Carolina

The weather cameras are located within the Desert Pines Subdivision. The image on the left is provided by a Logitech QuickCam Orbit AF camera which features Carl Zeiss optics and auto focus. The current view can be rotated via the mouse or keyboard to pan and tilt the camera. The image is uploaded every 15 minutes between the hours of sunrise and sunset. Currently this camera orientation is southeast.

The picture on the right is a Logitech Quickcam Pro 5000 camera. This camera utilizes Logitech Right-light 2 technology to ensure that the best image quality in low or harsh lighting conditions is provided to the viewer. The image is uploaded every 15 minutes between sunrise and sunset. The camera orientation is east.

The software used to collect the weather data and support the cameras is Weather Display (Weather Display). The webcam capture software is part of the main program.
