W4RJF's Current Ham Station

About my amateur station.
Welcome to my Amateur Radio Station. My station consist of an Icom 756 Pro III Transceiver with a Heil Pro-Set Plus headset microphone, Acom 1000 HF + 6 Linear Amplifier, Kenwood SM-230 Station Monitor, Palstar AT 1500CV Transmatch, W2IHY 8 Band Audio Equalizer and Noise Gate, EQplus by W2IHY and Micro Keyer for digital operation. I use an Icom 821 Transceiver for UHF/VHF operation. Both stations are powered by an Astron RS-35M power supply.

My antennas consist of a multi-band Windom for 10 meters thru 80 meters, an Inverted L (with ground radials) for 160 meters and a dual band vertical for UHF/VHF activity.

My logging program is DXbase 2007. This program provides me with internet cluster alerts, an interface for my Icom Pro III and displays grayline and world maps through the interface to DX Atlas.

I am a member of the Southeastern Repeater Association (SERA), the Raleigh Amateur Radio Society (RARS), and the Amateur Radio Relay League (ARRL). If you have questions related to ham radio, please email me. I'll be glad to assist you in anyway possible.
